Visual Arts programme
INSA Centre Val de Loire has a special programme for students who want to get into artistic practice. It’s a great way for them to discover different ways of expressing themselves.
Students taking part in this programme are introduced to a range of artistic techniques through a variety of workshops. The Visual Arts programme, set up in collaboration with the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts de Bourges (ENSA Bourges), gives students the opportunity to acquire a wide range of theoretical and practical skills to help them express their creativity.
Conditions for admission
The Visual Arts programme is open to INSA students in their 2nd year on the Bourges campus.
For students entering their 2nd year at INSA: applications for the Visual Arts programme can be made on the website http://admission.groupe-insa.fr/ by ticking the specific arts box (an application form will be sent to you).
For 1st year students who are already studying at INSA on the Blois campus and who wish to enrol in this programme for the rest of their studies on the Bourges campus: at the end of your 1st year, please contact Hélène Laurent, the programme coordinator on the Bourges campus.
Participation in the programme
Students should have a keen interest in the arts, but no specific knowledge or experience of the visual arts is required. Since the content and requirements of the INSA programme are the same as for other students, students are expected to have a sufficient academic level to be able to cope with the extra workload and to follow the proposed activities consistently.
The resources made available
The workshops, as well as the specific week-long seminars, are mainly held at ENSA Bourges, which provides access to various technical workshops (wood, metal, video, etc.).
