Research

Research is a strength that illustrates the quality of training and the innovation and transfer capabilities of a higher education institution.

Advancing innovation

INSA Centre Val de Loire has developed an innovative, multi-disciplinary scientific policy that is shared with the Conseil d’Orientation Stratégique de l’Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche et de l’Innovation (French Strategic Orientation Council for Higher Education, Research and Innovation), which includes the University of Orléans, the University of Tours, the BRGM, the CNRS and the Tours University Hospital.

INSA’s aim is to strengthen its relations with the socio-economic world and to promote innovation. This involves a strategy of aligning needs and resources around unifying themes that respond to the major societal challenges of the 21st century, and which are hallmarks of the INSA Centre Val de Loire’s identity: engineering for health, safety and risk management, digital data at the service of society and optimising resources and energy.
